Transformative Genomics is a National Bioscience Research Infrastructure (NBRI) strategically funded by the BBSRC to accelerate the translation of new advances in genomics and bioinformatics into ground-breaking discoveries, innovation, and market opportunities across bioscience.

The NBRI provides enabling tools and resources, advanced training, collaboration opportunities, and specialist services for academia and industry to exploit data-intensive technologies at the frontier of genomics.

The NBRI’s expertise and capabilities cut across genome science, with a particular focus on spatial and single-cell analysis, long-read sequencing, and genomics at scale.

The NBRI, which launched in April 2023, will hold its first annual user meeting, on 6 June 2024 at the Earlham Institute in Norwich.

The one day, in-person event will include updates on current and future capabilities, presentations from external and internal users, as well as behind-the-scenes access to our technology platforms.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Who should attend?

The event is open to all members of the bioscience community, including:

  • Internal and external users of the NBRI in academia and industry
  • Prospective users with an interest in new technologies, tools, and approaches for UK genome science
